 This books deals with The
Enghelberg Family history from the 1700-s till XX century. The central
story is the Moses (Marcel) Enghelberg experience as a Work Camp
Prisoner in Nazi Germany allied Rumania. his woks as a railways slave
worker, bunker builder and fact so the Second World War, regarding the
Eastern Front. after his spectacular escape from the last terrain from
Rumania, bound to Poland's Auschwitz Concentration and Extermination
Camps Complex, the stories continues from the capitalist after-war
Rumania 1944-1946, too the fist stages of communism 1946-1070, hard
communisms 1970-1988, and the day-by-day pressure and presence on the
Securitate (Secret Political and Security Police), until the
inside-palace Rumanian revolution and ousting of dictator Ceausescu's
regime in 1988.. The books ends with the Enghelberg Family emigration to
Israel and the last moments of Moses Enghelberg (ZL) in Israel.
It counts as well episodes
from the WWII, the decisive 1942 Wannsse/Berlin conferences, war
episodes on the Eastern Front, the Jewish Holocaust in Rumania, as well
as fact and numbers concerning the Jewish Holocaust.

This is the remarkable story of a man (Moises Enghelberg) who
was a prisoner, worked in the forced labor concentration camp system and
eventually escaped a fatal destiny, to become a normal member of the society
in a Rumania submerged in a turmoil, political unrest, communist revolution,
cold war and anti-Semitism. This is a story of his own lifetime and
historical events that left an impression on him, his family, country and
world.
 This post-World War II
history examines the experiences of Jews in Rumania, who just after the war,
found shelter in the same places they were living before the war. Because
immigration to the British Mandate of Palestine, as well as to the U.S., was
restricted, thousands of Jews from Eastern Europe as well as Jews who had
survived the Holocaust needed a temporary haven. Many eventually emigrated,
while some stayed in Rumania to rebuild their lives and communities.
The memoir spans five
generations of the author's family, from the turn of the century through the
Holocaust to the present day, delving into Rumanian-Jewish culture and
revealing the trials and tribulations of this extraordinary family.
Though told by Hedi and
sometimes by Moises, direct quotes of his remembrances make Moises ‘s story
immediate and personal. Telling details of moments of horror, desperation,
misery, and the tricks of survival add to this richly involving biography.
It’s a family portrait of
considerable eloquence and intelligence. The translation to English, Hebrew
and Rumanian is a must.

This is a
short story, about the first 2 hours of
the Yom-Kippur war, in the northern part
on the Golan Heights, the plateau that
was the Israeli-Syrian front during the
war.
On the
northern ridge, one unit, the 76th Heavy
Armored Battalion, part of the crack and
elite 7th Armoured Brigade, at 12:00M,
just 2 hours before the begining of the
war, under the command
of then Ltcol. Yair Nafphi, just did a
small forward movement to new positions
and
outmaneuvered the Syrian intentions and
changed the course of the war.
This
short novel is bases in some interviews
with now Brigadier General (R) Yair
Nafshi in Venezuela and Israel,
describing the times, the men, the
machines and the tactics just before
this bloody war erupted with ferocity
and death. |

three days and nights.
Within 48 hours, Israel seemed
on the verge of defeat on both
fronts. But as soon as its army
was fully mobilised, as soon as
the reservist brigades that made
up nine-tenths of its strength
were ready to deploy for battle,
it turned out that they could
stop both the Egyptian and
Syrian armies in their tracks,
and start their own advance
almost immediately. The war
ended with Israeli forces 70
miles from Cairo, and less than
